It seems like everyone, at least many high school girls, are obsessed with Taylor Swift. There are plenty of other artists who are just as good as her, possibly even better and they do not get as much promotion.
Natalie Jane, Jax and Morgan St. Jean are just some amazing individuals who sing within the same genre as Swift who do not get as much attention or credit. With songs like “I’m Her” by Natalie Jane, “Victoria’s Secret” by Jax and “Not All Men” by Morgan St. Jean, it is hard to believe that they are as overlooked as they are.
Taylor Swift is a worldwide chart topper. It is not that she is not worthy of these titles, but having her name in the top ten for multiple years, almost in a row, does not make sense. There are a ton of examples. “Look What You Made Me Do” from Swift’s 2017 album, Reputation and “Anti-Hero” from her 2022 album, Midnights were both in the Billboard Top 100 for weeks after their initial release and have both hopped up there multiple times since then.
Taylor Swift has been writing songs since 2006, which is when her first single, Tim McGraw, came out. After that, she continued to grow into the world renowned artist she is today. Swift has transitioned from country music, now into the pop genre, with a short-lived rap debut
Her growing popularity has taken the world by storm and Swifties, Taylor Swift fans, just can not get enough of her beautiful vocals and her amazing songs.
Taylor Swift’s songs are mostly positive and lively songs with very few exceptions. Having upbeat songs as chart toppers is a great way to influence others to listen to them because most highschoolers listen to music when getting ready, driving to and from school or to work.
Bright and cheerful music can lighten up someone’s listening habits and can help increase positivity within peoples’ days. A few other people to listen to if you want upbeat, happy and cheerful music with an experienced artist are Adele, Natalie Jane or Dua Lipa .
