Every year, it seems as though the student sections get smaller. With the dwindling numbers, the amount of students who actually dress up for the themes are also getting smaller. 

The most popular themes are pink night, Hawaiian night, and beach night. With these themes being pretty easy to participate in, shouldn’t we get more participation?

Many students feel as though they either do not have the items to meet the criteria or they think it is too embarrassing. 

Having simpler dress up ideas might just be the solution to the lack of student participation. Demon night is an already standing theme but it seems to be the most reciprocated. 

Having more nights like demon night might be the answer. We could have college night where you wear a college themed item. We could also have a PJ night which is pretty self explanatory. 

Keeping some of the current themes might be in the best interest of our student sections, such as beach night and pink night, because they are still pretty simple. 

Some other themes we could add is sports day where students wear a sports jersey or look as though they are going to play a sport (headbands, knee pads, helmets). Another one is funky hat day where everyone finds their goofiest hat and wears it. 

The student section themes BHS has now just seem to be repeated several times throughout the different sports season and what the student sections should be doing is easier and more simple themes.
