Walking away from the theater, I felt way different than I thought I would be going in. The movie had a heartwarming story and message about friendship, judgment and the meaning of Christmas. The film’s final act had me on the verge of tears for a while. The movie aims to tell people to be nice to others and accept everyone. The movie filled the theater with laughs but also caused tears. The acting was also great, to the point where each character acted as if it were them in real life. The movie focuses much more on the church and the biblical aspect of Christmas than I was expecting. Even as someone who enjoys traditional Christmas movies, I found this refreshing. It makes this movie feel like no other Christmas movie. Overall, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever tells a beautiful, unique story about the meaning of Christmas and friendship. This movie is definitely worth a watch!

The Herdmans are six siblings who have a reputation for being the worst kids in the world. However, when they take over the local church pageant during the holidays, they just might teach a shocked community about the true meaning of Christmas. Even though I have never watched the original or even read the book, this was one of the best Christmas movies I have ever watched. It had a heartfelt meaning but was also comical, making it even more enjoyable. I loved it so much. When I usually think about Christmas movies, Santa’s and the Hallmark channel comes to mind. The cheesy movies that come from the famous TV program are known to always have the same plot and quickly get boring and repetitive. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever was a great refresher for the Christmas season. Personally, I absolutely loved this movie.

The movie is very wholesome. It talks a lot about Jesus and his mother Mary. As someone who is a Christ follower, I can appreciate how they put God into a funny family movie. The movie has kept people on their toes the whole time. I think that this movie is one that families should add to their Christmas watch list. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a movie where the whole family can sit down and enjoy each other’s company while also watching a great movie. It makes people think about the Christmas story and their relationship with Jesus. I think this is a movie that everyone should watch whether they believe in God or not. Those who don’t believe in Christ can still find some great humor in this wonderful movie.
