“I have been teaching for 3 years now.”

What do you teach?  

“I teach US History, Global Studies, and North Dakota Studies.”

What’s your favorite thing about teaching?  

“I think my favorite part about teaching is getting to know my students and build relationships.”

What is some advice you would give your students? 

“Don’t think you need to have it all figured out when you graduate. You have the rest of your life to think about what you want to do. Be confident, not cocky. Be wise, not stubborn. Be you!” 

What is a random fact about you?  

“I dress up as the soldier at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park and give guided tours of the Custer Mansion as if we lived in the year 1875. “

What’s your biggest struggle as a teacher?  

“My biggest struggle is probably being tired all the time, lol. “

What do you value most as a teacher?  

“I value communication, empathy, and active listening as a teacher. I also really value coffee.”

What’s your favorite thing about BHS?

“My favorite thing about BHS are the students who go here, ya’ll are amazing!” 

What’s your favorite subject, food, or activity?

“Obviously my favorite subject is US History, favorite food is probably steak or anything from Eat Tai, my favorite activity is to travel and hike.”
