Mantis and Drax, Rocket and Groot – Two Guardians of the Galaxy spin-offs that never made it to the screen. Both films had eventually been combined into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Namor the Sub-Mariner – A movie featuring the king of Atlantis would have been made if it weren’t for more issues with contracts and production rights. Though the character was seen as a villain in Wakanda Forever, it would’ve been a treat to see how he would have been treated in his starring film.
Incredible Hulk 2 – The Hulk has only had one movie unlike many of the other heroes in the marvel universe such as Iron Man, Spider Man, Ant Man, Thor, Doctor strange, and Black Panther. The film was never made due to issues with Universal’s screen rights complicating Marvel Studios’ plans to film the sequel. The rights to the film have returned to Marvel as of 2023, so there is still hope for the movie.
Iron Man 4 – In 2014, word of a 4th Iron Man movie was making its rounds. Though the movie never came to fruition before the death of Iron Man. However, Robert Downey Jr. had expressed interest in returning to the role for a 4th movie.
Doctor Doom – Before the acquisition of Marvel Studios by Disney, there were plans to make a movie about the Fantastic Four villain Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom. The story would have tied into the Deadpool and X-Men films, reuniting the Marvel family.
