It’s no news that phones are getting banned. This isn’t everyone’s favorite idea, but phones need to be banned! It’s a great idea, and would be beneficial.
Phones cause a problem in the classroom. Students are learning less and less due to the distraction of phones. Students just want to grab their phones during class. When working in class and finishing the work for the class what do students do? Grab their phones. They don’t read, do other homework, or make use of their spare time.
People in general are so addicted to their phones. It’s like second nature to go to your pocket and start scrolling. It’s so normalized that it even happens in school. Having access to phones during school makes them more dependent on them. They don’t solve their problems on their own.
Kids would be more focused on their studies. The learning environment would have a more positive effect. Face-to-face interaction would benefit students.
The risk of cyberbullying increases with the presence of phones in school. Cyberbullying is a common problem and gets worse with the presence of phones.
Getting rid of phones is beneficial. It’s a wonderful idea to get them banned.
