Who would have thought a Starbucks drink could be so controversial? The Caramel Apple Spice (CAS) was a standard Starbucks staple until its discontinuation on August 26, 2025, when it did not appear on the Fall launch menu. The drink was a warm reminder of Fall for many CAS enthusiasts who were outraged by the removal. The company decided to focus on its other Fall flavors, such as pecan and pumpkin. The CAS could not compete with the popularity of these flavors. Certain Starbucks locations, like the ones located in Targets, still might be able to make the beverage since they have leftover ingredients. Unfortunately, this is not a guarantee, but baristas can give some recommendations as an alternative.

Appalled! It was a year round favorite. Great alternative to a hot coffee, any time of of day. Just love how the recommendations are nothing resembling what we are actually wanting.
